Thank you for attending
The London Modern Quilt Guild Canada's
5th anniversary Quilt Show.

Back in 2014 the London MQG Canada started their first official year as a chapter of The Modern Quilt Guild so what better way to celebrate than with a quilt show.

We will have our member quilts hanging in the historic Grosvenor Lodge at 1017 Western Road in London Ontario.   Think of blending history and the present.  Back when Grosvenor Lodge was built, quilts would have been made by hand and more utilitarian than our modern quilts of today.  And now we will display new modern quilts within this beautiful heritage building.

In addition to the quilts inside, we will have a stunning display of our Black AND White Plus One Fabric Challenge quilts hung around the 3 sides of the wrap around porch.  The challenge to our guild members was to use black fabric and white fabric as well as only one colour and create a mini quilt of their choice.  This display should be so unique to see as you approach Grosvenor Lodge.

We want to say a big thank you to Northcott Fabrics for their generous donation of our challenge fabrics!  Without them, the wrap around porch would look so bare and boring- but now it will look amazing!

Thank you to our vendors- Cotton Harvest Quilt Shop, Stache Fabric and Notions, Quilt Kitchen and Fabric Please.
Quilt show guests enjoyed shopping for fabric and notions and we saw many shopping bags brimming with new items to take home.
We had The Quilt Kitchen and Cotton Harvest Quilt Shop inside the Lodge and Fabric Please and Stache Fabric and Notions enjoyed the sunny outdoors on the sides of the porch.
Thank you for attending our quilt show - until next time!
