Ingersoll Creative Art Center – display of Art quilts on now
Row by Row continues until September
QuiltX – September 18 and 19th, Pyramid Center, St. Mary’s
- vendors will display quilts made with a new Johanna Masko pattern, Heather Stewart and Johanna Masko will be demonstrating, LMQG is making a quilt and selling kits (includes backing), volunteers may be needed, check with Kristyn.
Creative Festival – Oct. 15, 16 and 17th – Toronto Convention Center, Joyces usually has a bus trip
Doors Open – Sept 26th, Artisan Center, LMQG is displaying and welcoming visitors to the center, bring any quilts you are willing to display to the September meeting, there is a locked cupboard for us to use.
Western Fair – we are not officially a part of this
Ikea Fabric – 20cm by 20 cm bundles of 50 squares are available for $4.00. Perhaps could be used to build a quilt top for fund raising.
New magazines available at Hyggeligt – Quilt Mania and Simply Modern
Show and tell- log cabin quilt, suitable for a beginning quilter, two Riley Blake challenge projects and a Singer Featherlite machine
