MEMBERSHIP UPDATE: 18 Current members
COMMUNITY OUTREACH REPORT: Current project rag quilts. Krysten is working with participants. Veronica has been working to organize all donations of fabric etc. A huge tedious project and most appreciated by other volunteers. Batting donations would be most appreciated to finish participants’ projects.
MODERN QUILT GUILD REPORT: Charity quilt returned. We incorporated the “Oh, Canada!” pattern design by Cheryl Arkison. Cheryl was thrilled with our Guilds interpretation that included her pattern.
QuiltCon was considered a wonderful experience by our members who attended. All attendees felt
The quilts on display could have been better organized as to their location. QuiltCon organizers have encouraged feedback from attendees and will appreciate our attendees’ feedback.
The Riley Blake challenge fabric has been mailed out to individuals who registered. Limited quantities were available. to those of us who registered late we will have to purchase the fabric to participate.
A fair observation for the future would be register ASAP.

The Essex Quilt Guild has asked if we would like to participate in a round robin quilt for QuiltCon 2016 or 2017, we are getting further information on this event to be shared at our next meeting.
EDUCATION; ELEMENTS OF DESIGN PART 5 : presented by Kristyn a great Segway to Bill Kerr’s workshop on Colour ,Kristyn provided us with a review and workshop much appreciated by all in attendance.
