2026 "Create Whimsy"  Program
Still looking for Volunteers!

Our Program Coordinator, Jan D. also proposed an exciting new twist for our 2026 monthly presentations.  She has been exploring a wonderful website, called "Create Whimsy", a website dedicated to sharing the stories of creative makers, including quilters, and of special interest to us of course, Modern Quilting!  The goal is to have at least a 2-person team each month, who picks one of the featured artists in the Modern Quilting category, and presents specific information on the artist to the guild!
Check out your Nov meeting followup newsletter for more details and Jan's contact info.

2026 Program: Colour!

Jan D. piqued our interest once again with an exciting look ahead at our 2026 program.   What is one of the most often requested topics for our program?  Colour!  Jan will be basing next year's program on colour theory by Joen Wolfrom.  This will include Joen's book "Color Play", and her "Essential Color Card Deck".

Thank you to all who volunteered at our meeting to participate in a monthly zoom call and develop one of the 8 monthly presentations (Feb-Sept 2026)!  However, we do need a few more volunteers - whether you are a colour connoisseur, or a colour enthusiast who wants to learn more - please consider this opportunity!

Jan also encouraged all members to consider purchasing their own slide deck of Joen's "Ultimate -in-1 Color Tool"  - this is what it looks like!
