June Meeting - June 13

BOM - Turtle Block

This month we will use a three colour block with placement as shown on the coloured block. The block lends itself to strip piecing if you are using three fabrics. Consider the interesting secondary patterns when the blocks are put together.
Size: 12" finished

Alternate sizes are 9", 6", 4" or 2" with more ideas for colour palettes.

Create Whimsy with Linda M and Shirley P

Featuring the quilt artist Niraja Lorenz. She enjoys working with hexagons, log cabins, and stripes that are improvisationally pieced. Each piece is created individually by freehand cutting and sewing.
