Mystery Block of the Month (BOM) 2024
Sampler Quilt - Finish 60" x 60"

This year we are going to lean into the wonderful resources to be found on the Modern Quilt Guild website, by creating a Modern Sampler quilt all based on MQG block studies. Over the course of 11 months we will explore 11 different blocks that feature regular piecing, paper piecing, sewing curves, and improv. We will leave December free for you to assemble and finish your quilt, and then will have a special show and share at our Christmas party to show off our fabulous Modern Samplers. Although we will all be sewing the same blocks, you will choose how to arrange them, which will make for a fun show and share.
The quilt is planned to finish at 60”x 60” but of course you’re free to make more blocks to finish at any size you like. And if there is any block that you don’t like, you can head over the MQG website and replace it with a different block study of the same size.
You chose the colour pallet (see some options below) and you will need about 7 yards of fabric. 2 colours can be used as the back ground (please have more of these fabrics).
