Just a few pictures from a very successful 5th Anniversary Open House on Saturday. It was great to meet so many fellow Quilters along with LRC and HST games, cake and shopping!! Thank you to Hyggeligt, Stache Fabric, The Stitcharie and LDH Scissors for being our vendors and enticing us with lovely fabric and notions. Thank you to everyone who helped organize this great event! Here is the Championship round of the HST game led by Karen from the Toronto MQG- with the winner being ROSA! Congratulations Rosa! And we also had some delicious quilting themed cakes to help us celebrate. Here are the results to our quizzes we had on the walls at the open house. You can see the preferences of local quilters from which kind of fabric they like to buy, to if they pre-wash that fabric, and which kind of quilt designs they like to make as well as what they listen to / watch while quilting. This was a fun game and interesting to see how your own results compare with the others! With such a fun 5th Anniversary kick off meeting, we can't wait to see what the rest of 2019 brings for our guild.
2019 marks 5 years that the London Modern Quilt Guild Canada has been part of the worldwide Modern Quilt Guild, so it's time to celebrate!
