2019 Quilt Show
Northcott Challenge quilts are due - any outstanding ones should be submitted to Kristyn.  
We need more volunteers to help out with setup and takedown, ticket table, ironing quilts at the show etc.  Let Linda McLaren know if you can help out or sign-up on the LMQG Face Book page.
There are a number of spaces available for smaller quilts less than 30" square or 20" square.  Let Jan Dudek know if you have some smaller quilts that you would like to submit.

Charity Quilt - 2020 Quilt Con
Jan presented a few design options for our charity quilt for next years Quilt Con.  Lots of great ideas presented - it should be fun to pool everyone's talent. Due date - October!!

Paper Piecing
Linda and Brenda did a great workshop on the different methods of Foundation Paper Piecing.

We have some pretty talented members!

Here is Linda with her juried quilt called Windswept Sparks.  The Quilting Biker is Linda's blog and you can read more about her quilt.

Lisa also won 2nd place in the Textile Translations category of her Andalusia in Grey Scale quilt. 

And Kristyn won 2nd place in the Modern category for her Leap Of Faith quilt.
