Stitch in the Park

This evening we had a small turn out for our very first Stitch in the Park, in Victoria Park.  Even though it was pretty hot earlier today, this evening was the perfect temperature for stitching in the park.

We were randomly entertained by banjo and guitar players practicing in the park.  The park was full of families.  What a great sense of community! 

We sewed until almost sun down as the park filled up with movie goers getting ready to enjoy a screening of Shrek.

What a fabulous way to spend a summer evening!

Bring a lawn chair and some hand work.

July Meeting Recap

Our July meeting was held Saturday, July 14.  It was another lovely day in London.

This month we shared our Michael Miller Challenge Quilts.  Some were complete and some were still a work in progress.  The official deadline for entries is July 25, 2014.  

We have an amazing group of Quilters!
