On January 9th we held our first meeting of 2016! It was a fantastic meeting with a LOT of new faces. Welcome everyone! We are so happy to have you join us. One of our goals for 2016 is to greatly reduce the amount of time we spend on business and leave lots of time for learning and fun! Our business included the following announcements and reminders: Kristyn led a demonstration of a paper pieced pin cushion she had made. She made little kits for every member from her stash. (Thanks Kristyn!) We were each given prints and/or solid that would make up the colour wheel and neutral for the background. So really the challenge was part creating the colour wheel and part paper piecing. Here are our members hard at work... And here is some of their hard work... We are all paper piecing experts now! After all of our learning, there wasn't a whole lot of time for Show & Share, here are the two quilts that were shared: Our next meeting will be held February 13, 2016 at 10am. Stay tuned for next month's agenda.
