Nancy Trowbridge's Triangle workshop

Everyone sure had a lot of work to do today at the Triangle Workshop!  It was a very busy day!
Nancy Trowbridge is a fantastic teacher and lovely lady!  She got right to work first thing this morning, and taught a new technique for piecing triangles.

The first step was to take all your fabric and sew them in long strata strips of various widths.

After sewing all the strips into strata, the next step was to sub cut triangles on the 60* marking of the ruler.

Then Nancy demonstrated how to arrange your triangles into a design you wanted.

And here are some of the arranged triangles.

Wonder what it would look like if you Improv Pieced rows of strata then cut into the 60* Triangles?  Future project?
